@shahedC It's not that prices are bad, just both big houses. Interest rate on the new one will be a lot higher than current. So... It's a risk.

@SQLRockstar yeah, i'd be fine with a temporary boarding if it gets the old house sold. the lingering old house is really the main issue i'm trying to avoid. Things that weren't considered with accumulating the pack haha.

@mattbdevaney We did look at that option, but we are effectively buying two houses in that scenario. If we don't get the old house sold, it's a huge risk.

@simon_sabin agreed. but from a $$$ situation, it becomes a huge risk if our current house doesn't sell. Could handle 3 months, but beyond that, it's a big challenge. Which is why we abandoned the thought a bit ago.
